I offer individual counseling with adults. My approach is eclectic, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, EMDR and movement. As a yoga teacher I love bringing yoga and meditation into the therapy room (even if it's virtual). Most importantly, I find what resonates with each individual client.
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, artists/creatives and the LGBTQIA+ community. My clients are often highly sensitive people, perfectionists, creatives or empaths.
My practice is located in Boonton, NJ. I offer in-person and virtual sessions to New Jersey residents. I offer virtual appointments to New York residents.

Trauma-Focused Therapy
What is EMDR? EMDR is “a structured therapy that encourages the patient to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories” (emdria.org). EMDR is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that can help people recover from trauma or PTSD. In addition to trauma, EMDR can also be beneficial for a wide range of mental health disorders including anxiety, panic attacks, performance anxiety, sleep issues and other phobias. I offer EMDR both in-person and virtually. |
