Sara Fagan LCSW, RYTI’ve always been drawn to people’s stories—and to the strength it takes to explore them with honesty and care. My passion for connection led me into the mental health field, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting adults through trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, and the complexities of creative life.
After earning my master’s in clinical social work, I deepened my clinical training in a variety of settings—first as a group therapist in a day treatment center, and then as an individual clinician in community mental health. I've worked with clients across North Carolina, New England, and the Tri-State area, and feel grateful for the opportunity to support people from a range of backgrounds and experiences. Before becoming a therapist, I spent much of my youth as an actor. While I ultimately chose a different path, that time in the arts shaped how I show up for creatives and performers—with empathy, insight, and deep respect for the emotional demands of artistic work. I understand the pressures, the vulnerability, and the drive to stay connected to your voice, even when the world feels overwhelming. In my practice, I blend trauma-informed care with mindfulness, somatic approaches, and collaborative exploration. I believe in treating the whole person—not just the symptoms. Therapy with me is about finding clarity, building self-trust, and creating space to feel more fully yourself. Life can be messy, beautiful, painful, and surprising. Whether you’re feeling stuck, seeking peace, or longing to reconnect with your creativity—I’m here to walk alongside you. |
